Two Rivers Radio is a not-for-profit, participatory community radio station dedicated to broadcasting independent and original content that is created by the people of York, for the people of York in the heart of York.
Independent media requires independent funding and therefore we rely on donations, grants and philanthropic investments to survive.
Run exclusively by a hard-working team of volunteers we produce 11 hours of fresh, grass-roots radio every week and we are looking to do more in 2018 and beyond.
We have some fantastic support in place already from The Corner Pin on Tanner Row in York, as they accommodate our pop-up studio every Monday from midday until 11pm.
We have big plans for the future, but it is only with your on-going support and enthusiasm for community radio that we can grow to become part of the fabric of the city – delivering 100% independent and local news, talk, debate, discussion, music, reviews, documentary, drama and more!
Over the coming months and years we will be running events and opening up more opportunities for local people to get involved with community radio.
Two Rivers Radio will be taking on more volunteers, increasing its capacity to become a training provider and offering much more than just good music and informed discussion to the ears and individuals of our great city!
If you have as passionate a belief in the importance and power of community media as we do – then please make a small donation to Two Rivers Radio. This can be a regular donation of as little as £1 or a one-off donation of any amount – it all helps!
