12pm- 1pm –  First up, Lunchtime Rush  with Declan Minskip who will be talking about Saturday’s recording of Ask York, comfort food, and a little bit about his memories of the first year of Two Rivers Radio following our anniversary.

1pm- 2pm –  Today is the day! Ask York is back! …and again we are tackling the biggest issues facing the City of York. In this edition of the programme we are talking about City centre regeneration .As ever we presented a panel of local decision-makers, influencers, academics and business people to field questions from a live studio audience.

Together they debated some wonderful questions from our audience; Pedestrianisation of the city centre, archaic business rates, tourist tax, indoor markets and possible uses for the empty buildings around the city and much more! Tune in!

2pm- 3pm –  LGBT Hour with Lisa Kelly – LGBT News, look back and a look ahead at events and special guest Emily Roach will  be quizzed on our topic of the day, Bisexuality, which means all our music also has a link to bisexuality in some way, including a classic 70’s glam rock song!!

3pm-4pm –  Sam and Alex are back with What Rock?  going a little off the beaten track (haha) and doing a Metal show this week!  Focusing on their favourite bands and talking about the history of how it came to be as a genre as well as some of the more interesting bands. Plus the usual music news and chat.

5pm- 6pm –  Ask York is tackling the biggest issues facing the City of York. 6pm- 7pm –  Coastin’ with Stephen Allan is back – there will be an abandoned park (spooky!) and lots of great music.

7pm- 8pm –  MTTY is music all about animals…… It could be the artists or the track that are animal related. Can you name a track with lion or fox mentioned? Music from the 50’s to the 00’s with Stephen Allan and Tracy Neasham-Allan

10pm- 11pm Back fresh from a Karl Pilkington style ideal holiday in North Wales, The Late Mr Judge To You will wind up and close down on the thrill of Rhyl and a tremendous Two Rivers Monday with a selection of handpicked tunes to aid those among us that the twenty first century renders a little hard of hearing…. Join me for the last hour of devolved government, ancient linguistic preservation, and Romanic, Saxonic, and Normanic defiance On Air!

1pm – 2pm – First episode of The Art of the Matter with Claudia Wardle! We will be discussing Renaissance Ferrara and a Painted book of Hours belonging to the Este family. Claudia will interview Charlotte Dawson of the York River Art Market and talk about some local exhibitions including the poignant Refuse/Refuge currently in York Art Gallery.

2pm – 3pm – Black York Radio with Fasil Demsash – What it takes to motivate and engage Black and Asian Minority Ethnics in British Politics? Challenges & opportunities 

3pm – 4pm  – Breakin’ York with Graham Blueskies. A show dedicated to playing original material from unsigned and independent artists/bands/labels and studios with the added fizz of telling our listeners interesting elements of who, what, where and when. This week’s show will be featuring tracks by Jess Penn, Chris Helme, Van Der Neer, Charlie Swainston, Steve Larkman and more

4pm – 5pm – This week’s Information Takeaway with Juliet Powel focuses on Food Poverty and the impact on mental health. Our guests are Maddy Power, from the York Food Poverty Alliance, Claire Davies Food Writer and volunteer from the York Food Bank and community mental health nurse, Katie Pybus and great music as usual.

5pm -7pm – Just Jessin’ Around with Jess Parker, live DJ session in the Corner Pin.

7pm – 8pm – Christian Greenwood is back with Music History 101: this time presenting Primal Scream!

8pm- 9pm –  Kate Lock is very excited to be sharing the Two Rivers Radio studio with York jazz musician Ian Chalk for All That Brass. Ian, who is music director of York Jazz Initiative, will be talking about his musical influences, his career as a brass player and much more, as well as picking his personal selection of music.

9pm – 10pm – The Soul Man, Paul Coull is back with the Soul Hour. Tune in for some great selection of tracks!!

10pm – 11pm – Upside Your Mind will close the day with some blissful tunes. A trip from the basement to the tropics and back is waiting for you…

1pm- 2pm – The Poetry Show will be talking about Gender in the first half, the Rose Drew & Alan Gillott will be live in the studio for Stairwell Books with composer Nick Williams

2pm – 3pm – Is a bit of a Pick and Mix! Some good music for our one and only: Daddy Cool.

3pm – 4pm – We’ve got first episode of a brand new show for you this week! What Rock? Join Alex Fisher and Sam Booth for an exploration of the rock genre, one sub genre at a time. From classic to post rock Alex and Sam’s choice picks will be sure to have you both banging your head to some big hits and scratching it at some more interesting choices that’re sure to introduce you to your new favorite band!!

4pm – 6pm – Mr. Judge to You! will go under the title “Native New Yorker”… A natural progression from our last show where Paul Simon got by with a little help from his New York and New Jersey friends… We will be Jazzy, Jivey, Alternative, Disco and Rocky on our two hour trip to The Big Apple with our very own rough musical and geographical guide to York’s younger and bigger…. MUCH Bigger Brother and Sister City across T’Atlantic Ocean!

6pm – 7pm – Coastin’ is gonna take us for a big ride with the eclectic mix of music, a review of# Blackpool Pleasure Beach’s new £16.25 million pound attraction, and another re-located ride, now flourishing in Italy!

7pm – 8pm – MTTY with Tracy and Stephen Allan this month is all about the music and events of the year 1969!

8pm – 9pm – All That Brass is tooting it’s horn for … well, anything with horns in it! Presenter Kate Lock is joined by leading York brass player Mike Pratt , who will be picking more of his favourite tracks and discussing the banding scene. Expect 70s music, classic brass and a few euphoniumisms!

9pm-10pm – Soul Hour with the one and only Mr. Paul Coull, let us soothe the mind and hearts! (This will be a show from the archives as Paul is at the Cricket today)

10pm – 11pm – Upside Your Mind takes us on another trip from the basement to the tropics and back. Taking in chillout, funk, tropical house and more…
