Leather’o (think Raggle Taggle Gypsy’o) is a five piece Alternative-Celtic / Gypsy Band in York. They play all acoustic, traditional instruments in venues from small bars unamplified, to full-on Ceilidhs.

The band was formed in 2012 but several of the members have been gigging together for years before that. They develop new material all the time, writing new tunes in the alt-celtic style as well as adapting traditional material.

Welcome, one and all to a very exciting afternoon of tunes and good vibes brought to you by the Two Rivers Radio team!

Not only is this a fundraiser for Two Rivers Radio – and a live broadcast – but importantly it is our very own, star presenter, Declan Minskip’s 21st birthday!!! 🙂

He wants tequila, sambuca, the bumps and everything else – so be a part of it.

Find yourself in need of a personal ice-bucket when CatchAFire start burning the soles of your shoes with reggae, ska & dancehall skanks!

Take part in the Corner Pin Conker Championship – only £2 to enter (Free for kids) – all money raised will go towards runing Two Rivers Radio – the City of York’s very own community radio station.

There will be drinks, fabulous music and good times to be had – so be there, or be….

Well Strung! Acoustic Sunday Session

Well Strung! Acoustic Sundays are a weekly session held at The Black Horse on Monkgate.

Join hosts, Suzy Bradley & Jez Russell between 3-7pm for fantastic live music, a relaxed atmosphere and a couple of jars if you fancy…

All instruments and abilities are welcomed, and all players receive a free drink!

The Black Horse has a great range of beers, top pork-pies, a large beer-garden and parking.
