Stairwell Books Presents : Sue Lister MBE (awarded for “Equality, Diversity and the Arts in Yorkshire”), has spent her life thus far confronting bigotry, and promoting feminism. Also, Rose is baaaaaaaaack and oh so happy to chat with y’all.

Join us between 2-3pm Fasil Desmash‘s show Black York  Have you seen Wakanda ? What do you know about Adwa? The struggle of Black on film screen and real life !

3pm will bring Mr. Paul Coull  – the Soul Man – to us for an hour of best classics and soothing #Soul Music.

4pm means it’s time for Upside Your Mind – more music from across the globe, from the present, past and the future! Music from the Tropics to warm us up in the cold, and VERY wintery York.

From 5pm Two Rivers Radio Studio will Catch a Fire! Tune in for two hours of the finest skanking tunes you’ll find, all brought together by the City of York’s reggae rhythm aficionados – Daddy Harper and YorkMan

Between 7-8pm Mark Chandler’s Hub of Music,Games and Wrestling ! This week we have music from York’s very own Kell Chambers Music and an interview with the leader The Monsters, Alan Kay – Professional Wrestler.
Kell is a lad with a great voice and excellent sound!
Alan Kay is a member of the EBW – Elite British Wrestling rosta and and had a monster of a year in 2017 (pun intended)

Between 2-3pm Fasil Desmash‘s show Black York will focus on issues relating to the BAME community in York. This week we have a special interview with Imam Abid Salik of York Mosque!

Christian Greenwood presents the history of a classic band every month!

At 8pm we have Compost John’s Recycled Radio Show and will feature Ben Eyes, local musician and half of innovative duo Stocker / Eyes. He’s even got a track inspired by Monks Cross! This plus topical chat, should be a corker!

Two Rivers Radio presents: Live & Loud!!

Welcome, one and all to a very exciting afternoon of tunes and good vibes brought to you by the Two Rivers Radio team!

Not only is this a fundraiser for Two Rivers Radio – and a live broadcast – but importantly it is our very own, star presenter, Declan Minskip’s 21st birthday!!! 🙂

He wants tequila, sambuca, the bumps and everything else – so be a part of it.

Expect live music from some of the finest performers in York.

Find yourself in need of a personal ice-bucket when CatchAFire start burning the soles of your shoes with reggae, ska & dancehall skanks!

Take part in the Corner Pin Conker Championship – only £2 to enter (Free for kids) – all money raised will go towards runing Two Rivers Radio – the City of York’s very own community radio station.
