Good morning people of York!

This week we prepared some fantastic shows for you; some permanent residents, some brand new but all exciting and full of great music!
Tune in form midday till 11pm.

12pm-1pm –  It’s Declan Minskip with Lunchtime Rush!! Music madness and a dose of good humor to start you off with!

1pm – 2pm – On The Poetry Show + Stairwell Books Presents, we air The Poetry Show S2.10 AMERICA: PART ONE, which is our last show before we take a summer break. Back soon!
On Stairwell Books Presents: we meet with members of a new Two Rivers show, The FanFiction Show!

2pm – 3pm -Special One-off Music and Musings! Rob G. playing some choice electronica from the last three decades.

3pm – 4pm – What Rock? this week is going to explore Grunge. Bands like Pearl Jam, Soundgarden as well as some newer grunge inspired rock like Wolf Alice.

4pm-6pm – Mr. Judge run away from us today, so we will replay some of his very best for those who missed out!

6pm – 7pm – Bob Horton brings The Weirdness. This week, on the weirdness: Monsters. Oh god, there are monsters. Why are there monsters? Did they have to bring the monsters? *groaning with despair*

7pm –  8pm –  This hour is going to be a bit of pick an mix, but worry not we have some most special stories coming your way quite soon!  (It’s all in the making!!! PROGRESS!)

8pm – 9pm – In Glass Half Full Kate will be joined by representatives of York cycling groups and Clean Air York to discuss how the city could transition to an Amsterdam-style cycling culture. And, as the heatwave continues, Kate talks to Yorkclimate scientist Dr Andreas Heinemeyer about the implications for us all in a warming world. Plus, if Trump is making you blue, Ned Hoste of One Planet York has some tips on how to channel your creative passions to build a positive outlook!

9pm – 10pm – Something New! Our new presenter Maxime Maigret
will be focusing on the French artist “Fakear” who has released his new album in April this year.
It’s a chilled electro music quite popular in France. Maxime will also talk about some similar French artists : Møme, Petit Biscuit, Rone and Superpoze

10pm – 11pm – Upside Your Mind will close the day with some blissful tunes. A trip from the basement to the tropics and back is waiting for you…
Two Rivers Radio is a community radio station dedicated to providing unique, original and independent media for the people of York. Run by a dedicated team of hard-working volunteers, Two Rivers Radio is “By the people of York, for the people of York, in the heart of York”
We broadcast every Monday from midday ’til 11pm from our pop-up studio at the The Corner Pin, Tanner Row, York.
