Get ready for a whole day of fantastic music, good vibes and interesting talks from our dedicated hosts!

12pm-1pm –  It’s Declan Minskip with Lunchtime Rush!  Put on your holiday happy hat and let’s enjoy some top music choices and chat with Declan!

1pm – 2pm – We have a surprise Soul Hour with Mr. Paul Coull the Soul Man himself, this week celebrating the Soul Queen, Aretha Franklin!

2pm -3pm – LGBT Hour with Lisa Kelly; we will have a look at the past month’s events, and in the LGBT news there’s hope for an LGBT center in York, and the Anne Lister rainbow plaque controversy! Being a bank holiday we also pack in a fine selection of GLAMOROUUUUUS music!

3pm – 4pm – Sam Booth is back to join Alex Fisher  at What Rock? They are doing Pop-Punk this week, going to cherry pick the gems of a genre with a lot of great bands and a lot of bad bands, talk about the genre as a whole as well as some recent news and their personal favorites.

4pm-6pm –  This slot is going to be a bit of pleasant Pic’n’Mix who knows we might be able to hear live from Dyls Party in the Park?! We will see!

6pm-7pm – Coastin’ with Stephen Allan this month will talk about relocated ride and also defunct park sections. Staff at Flamingoland has helped to create half of the play list for today’s show! Tracks from Pink, George Ezra, David Bowie, Tom Walker, Moody Blues, Luka Bloom, State Champs, Rainbow, Mott the Hoople and more!

7pm – 8pm –  MTTY is all about Disney, strange facts, amazing tunes (as always) best and worst films and some info about the man himself Walt Disney

8pm – 9pm –  All That Brass welcomes York-based composer and conductor David Lancaster to give his personal pick of music with a brassy theme on Bank Holiday Monday on @TwoRiversRadio. David, who grew up playing the cornet, has composed music for choir, strings and other instruments as well as brass and his compositions have been played around the world. He is also Director of Music at York St John University and MD of Championship section brass band, York RI Band. Really looking forward to this one!

9pm – 10pm – Jonah Hebron brings another episode of Beats n’ Pieces: This week there’s plenty of jazzy beats from heads worldwide. There’s Pete Rocks younger brother, Grap Luva, contemporary London sounds courtesy of Talos and Coops, and Japanese hiphop from ’96. Tune in and tune out to York’s only hiphop show!

10pm – 11pm – Mr Judge to You is now coming late to you, and perhaps inevitabley (perhaps not), renamed THE LATE MR JUDGE TO YOU…. for one precious hour only from 10 to 11pm this coming bank holiday Monday. How can you kill a man who’s already dead, or even the evening’s last hour of Two Rivers Radio? We shall see… as we explore the darkness of the decaying orbiting hour before sleep, revive yesteryear fun under the bedclothes and Break on Through To The Other side…. It’ll be gotosleeponmondaytastic… Be there or be a sheep count… at the LateMJTY!!
