Today from 12pm till 9pm.
Tune in to Two Rivers Radio:
12pm-1pm – On this weeks edition of The Lunchtime Rush Declan will be talking about good deeds that you can do offline and online right now!!! Accompanied of course by great selection on tunes.
1pm – 2pm- Crossing Boarders with Genevieve is back to satisfy our hunger for folklore knowledge!
2pm – 3pm – Black York with Fasil Demsash.
3pm-4pm – Ask York is back on Two Rivers Radio.
4pm-5pm – On this weeks Yor Living Well Show, Juliet and her guest Siobhan tackle the tricky subject of grief and loss. January can seem a never ending month for many people, as they held things together over Christmas and then face the remainder of winter. Siobhan offers pragmatic and caring ideas and approaches to keep us going.
5pm-6pm – On today’s edition of The Connoisseur’s Stash, the connoisseur himself, Mr Tommy Wilson is gonna be dishing out rare Pink Floyd, The Fall, The Doors, Big Star, MC5, The Damned, Stooges, Stones, Bowie, Flaming Groovies, Tom Waits, Sleaford Mods, Them, Elvis Costello, Marvin Gaye, Manic Street Preachers, Fishbone, Roxy Music, Joy Division and much more! Tune in for the jokes, the stories, the hip as hell jive but as always, music is the beef in this stew.
6pm – 7pm – On this edition of TS(!)HMS (bit of a mouthful that) our hero looks to all that was discovered in 2018 as well as looking forward to what’s to come. Expect rampant speculation about new albums and tours, as well as some new stuff… And some old stuff because as always, heavy metal is serious business.
7pm-8pm – This month on Music history 101, Christian will be looking at everybody’s favourite cantankerous musical icon Lou Reed. We will be focusing specifically on the seminal ‘Transformer’ and ‘Berlin’ albums. Join me for a journey through what many consider his musical high point as a solo artist
8pm – 9pm – This month on Compost John’s Recycled Radio Show, John will be interviewing his friend John Walford.
John was born in a blizzard in 1947 but has almost recovered.
He has now retired from working as a conductor on the railway and spends as much time as he can travelling to tropical locations to observe butterflies.
Has been writing short, factual articles for about 12 years mostly for reading aloud at open mic events and has two collections of writing published locally.
John will be reading excerpts from some of his stories and engaging in topical chat.
And that’s all folks!
We broadcast every Monday from midday ’til 11pm from our pop-up studio at the The Corner Pin, Tanner Row, York.
