1pm – 2pm –  Songs & Stories for a Winter’s Night: Do you ‘welcome the nights that double delights?’ Or doth ‘Winter waken all thy cares?’ Why does Santa ride in a sled driven by reindeer? Do you prefer Medieval carols or caroles? And what on earth is a Christmas goat?!! Winter is one of Genevieve’s favorite times of year, and the best time to gather together with those we hold dear, to listen to stories & share in music! So gather together & let us make merry as we take a look at a few ways & whys of traditional winter celebrations around the world & Genevieve will share a few of her favorite stories with you to help ‘Drive The Cold Winter Away.’

Black York #OneYear #Anniversary ! What we planned and achieved, the challenges we faced –  and introduction to a New topic of discussion for York Residents in 2019!

3pm-4pm –  Breaking York with Graham Blueskies this week presents a whole bunch of new tracks – Tune in to listen to the best local musicians!

4pm-5pm – This week on the Information Takeaway, Juliet is chatting to the Greedy Wordsmith –  Claire Davies. A York Christmas Foodie special – hints and tips on where to get ‘indie’ food this Christmas, recipes and a bit of Christmas food history….. plus a few special Christmas songs!

5pm – 7pm –  Two hours of best Reggae selection with the mighty and finest Catch a Fire duo: York Man and Daddy Harper!

7pm – 9pm –  Tune in to HMGW

9pm-10pm – Soothing sounds for the Soul with Paul Coull’s Soul Hour!

10pm -11pm – To finish the day we will have some exclusive choices of French music from Maxime Maigret. Tune in for Bagguete et Croissant! This week we will focus on independent label “Chinese Man Record” and explore different bands of this label.

7pm – 9pm –  This weeks HMGW Show will be a replay due to unforseen circumstances. We will be revisiting the show from the 30/04/18 which features the brilliant York based band Van Der Neer and British Professional Wrestlers Boris Koslov, Dom Black and Myles Kayman.
