Today’s MJTY is to be entitled “Me and My Shadows”. Running on from last show’s “Songs of Innocence and Experience”, Steve will be playing tunes from a bullion vault of Cliff numbers… with or without his Shadows; interspersed with a number of modern day offerings…
There will also be a few gangster movies involved (new and old), for Declan and Steve to review.
TUNE IN BETWEEN 5-7pm!!
Tune in today for ALL of this!!!
At 1pm the Podcast Poets are back with The Poetry Show – this week’s topic for discussion and muse will be ‘Job Share’ for the first half. In the second half Rose & Alan will be joined live in the studio by Tom Dixon who will be talking about writing (of course) and also how to overcome that initial fear of doing an open mic!
Between 2-3pm we will be airing Ask York for the very first time. Ask York is a political panel show recorded in front of a live audience. In this debut edition the chairman is Pete Kilbane and the panelists are Prof. Kate Pickett (Uni of York), Cllr. Jonny Crawshaw (Lab), Paul Healey (Con) & Helen Graham of My Castle Gateway.
Upside Your Mind is back from 4pm ’til 5 with a brand new mix – he could be in the basement, he could be in the tropics, he could be anywhere and everywhere in between. Get locked in and find out for yourself!
The Stray Wolf of Rock ‘n Roll is back from 5-7pm. Mr. Judge to You! With special guests and as ever – excellent musical selections.
Tonight we will be interviewing Leah Bennett, a life coach and consultant from the USA, and now British citizen. She will be sharing some of her ‘pivotal’ tracks with us, as Mr. Judge shoe horns in his own vaguely related titles.
Between 7-8pm we will be repeating Ask York for those that didn’t hear it earlier this afternoon.
8-9pm Kate Lock will be in the hot-seat, presenting Glass Half Full. There will be a foodie theme today as Kate talks to Chill In the Community CIC, Andrew Waller, Food Circle York, Good Food York & One Planet York.
