Midday – 1pm – Declan Minskip presents the Lunchtime Rush. There will be exciting and eclectic music as ever and all of the positivity you could ask for on this Bank Holiday Monday afternoon!!!
 
1 – 2pm – The Art of the Matter with Claudia Wardle investigates a group Easter-related images. Claudia will also be interviewing local artist, Pennie Lordan and local historian, Cristina Figueredo.
 
2 – 3pm – Harrison Fretwell-Bates has produced another fantastic show charting an important part of our city’s history. Take a step back in time today and find out about York’s long-term relationship with CHOCOLATE.
 
3 – 4pm – Alex & Sam will be bringing you the very best in an as yet undisclosed sub-genre of rock this afternoon. Tune in and turn your system up to 11 for What Rock?
 
4 – 5pm – This will be a show from the archives.
 
5 – 6pm – This will be a show from the archives.
 
6 – 7pm – This will be an episode of Bob Horton Brings the Weirdness from the archives.
 
7 – 8pm – Graham Blueskies is in the hot-seat hosting Breaking York – bringing you the very best in local and independent music. Today, York-based band The Receivers will be live in the studio playing some tunes and chatting about their current UK tour! Not to be missed.
 
 
This will be our final live broadcast on a Monday for a while. We are a voluntary organisation and need to take some downtime to recruit new volunteers, fund-raise and plan for a more sustainable future of Two Rivers Radio.
 
We will continue to promote events, gigs, music, comedy, happenings and more via our social media channels.
 
We will be updating and improving our website over the coming weeks so please do keep checking in and if its down, don’t worry – it’ll only be temporary.

2pm – 3pm –¬† Black York¬†with Fasil Demsash focusing on Black History Month-Open discussion & Music.

3pm-4pm –¬†Breaking York¬†with Graham Blueskies presents lyrics and tunes written played and sung by the people who wrote them. A show case for all genres for fully original work, information about the tracks recordings, where to get them from and go to see the artists’ live performances!¬† Of note this week we songs from Gary Middleton and Mark Rowen‚Äď and a special mention to Breaking York‚Äôs first mini tour featuring three local artists Evie Barrand, Quiet Eyes and Ten-79

4pm-5pm –¬†On this weeks Yor Living Well Show, Juliet is in conversation with Aron Murray. We will chatting about the issues with men talking openly about their mental health and focusing on Aron’s story to improved mental health and what supported him on his journey. Plus great music including the Manic Street Preachers!

5pm-6pm –¬†New Show this week!¬†Tom Wilson with The Connoisseur’s Stash will be introducing himself on Two Rivers Radio . Playing some incredible funk, rock, blues, punk and generally stunning vibes. We are looking forward to the straight talkin Salford lad throwing down his gauntlet to York

6pm – 7pm –¬†¬†This week on¬†The Totally Serious (!) Metal Show¬†, our hero tries to explain the tenuous link between goth and metal, going back in time to an age of long black coats and enormous boots, because as always, heavy metal is a serious business.

7pm-8pm –¬† Music History 101¬†is back and this time Christian Greenwood is looking after the Damned.

8pm – 9pm –¬† This month on Compost John’s Recycled Radio Show, John is joined by Bev and Angie from¬†The Ambulance Wish Foundation – York.¬†Who¬†support non-mobile, terminally ill/elderly people make memories and transport them to their wish in comfort, with medical support in their Ambulances.

9pm-10pm РSoul Hour  with Paul Coull is back with great choices of soothing tunes to end the night!

Juliet Powell is back after a short break. The Yor Living Well Show returns to Two Rivers Radio today. The show that highlights our journeys and difficulties through life. This week we chat to Jayne about her use of alcohol and painkillers as a way of coping with difficult periods of her life. She talks about resources and techniques that finally helped her to live a more balanced life. A gripping and interesting story.

5-6pm – Pop punk with ‚ÄėWhat Rock?‚Äô Join¬†Sam¬†&¬†Alex¬†picking out the best of a crowded genre and talking about the evolution of some of the genre‚Äôs biggest names as well as the usual music news highlights.

6-7pm РThis month Lisa Kelly looks back at the past month, looks ahead to the next month, brings you the latest LGBT news including the latest on the Anne Lister Rainbow plaque controversy and will also pack in lots of music with each song having an LGBT link.

At 7pm Christian Simon will be guiding us through the life, times and music of The Damned

John Compost Cossham will be in the hot-seat from 8-9pm, presenting another Recycled Radio Show.

3pm – 4pm –¬†What Rock?¬†Tune in this week for a brief look into Ska music. We’ll be looking at it from its origins right through to what it is now!

4pm – 6pm – Mr. Judge to You!¬†Two Rivers… Two hosts… possibly Three!!! “Pretty Flamingos and Engine Drivers” … Mr Judge will be joined by 2RR host Tracy Neasham Allan to talk her life and music; especially in connection with her current job at a well known Yorkshire Zoo… hopefully, to be joined by her 2RR co-host Stephen Allan to talk about his working love of music, travel… and the railways… A Ton o’ Fun on Mon’ with Mr Judge To You on the unstoppable animal magical, railroading radio express Two Rivers Radio!
